Chairman
Tim Bullock
Tim spent 26 years in banking and finance with 14 years as a Managing Director with Lloyds Bank Group. Since 2005 Tim has pursued his private business interests, co-founding New Wave Ventures in 2010.
Tim has been a director of Surface Generation since 2011, succeeding as Chairman in 2025.

Ben Halford
Ben is the founder of Surface Generation, with over 30 years of experience, and possesses extensive knowledge of advanced manufacturing, 3D printing and composites in the motorsport, aerospace and automotive sectors.
Director
James Simmonite
James has an MSc in high performance polymers and works at Victrex plc, where he leads Energy strategy, innovating PEEK solutions for oil and gas, cryogenics and Magma Global’s m-pipe® subsea tech. He has been a director at Surface Generation Ltd since 2023.
