What We Do

Our PtFS product range includes advanced heating, cooling and process control specifically designed for maximum performance in turnkey or retrofitted applications. This innovation combined with custom hardware and software provides the first ‘digital moulding environment’ where ‘active thermal management’ gives massive reductions in energy consumption, cycle time and pressures needed to process even the most complex material and part combinations. PtFS is used across a range of sectors including aerospace, automotive and consumer devices.

Surface Generation offers customers’ access to extensive R&D, test and commissioning facilities in Europe, Asia and North America. With the option of on or offsite running, users can process thermoplastics, thermosets, metals and glasses up to 850 degrees C using state-of-the-art PtFS systems in conventional or custom configurations. Supported by our team of interdisciplinary experts, injection moulding (120 & 350 tonnes), compression moulding (100 tonnes), vacuum infusion and prepreg processing equipment can be accessed for proof-of-concept, research and development purposes.
